ADHM

Genre: Drama, Musical, Romance
Duration: 157 minutes
Language: Hindi
India Release Date: 28-OCT-2016
Pick-D-Flick Rating: 3.25 on 5 (Anushka All The Way)

Plot:
A story about unrequited love – the shapes it takes, the ways it changes us and the exhilarating and often heartbreaking ride it takes us on. It is the journey of three characters, Ayan, Alizeh and Saba, as their lives intertwine and they navigate life, love and heartbreak.

Overall Review:
Kjo films have always centred around relationships and emotions, which are woven together with larger than life opulence with music playing an integral role. #AeDilHaiMushkil also falls in the same space. It offers little in terms of story and fails to get the audience empathise or feel for the characters and events in the movie...

Shivaay

Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama

India Release Date: 28-OCT-2016
Pick-D-Flick Rating:

Plot:
Shivaay is a Himalayan mountaineer who is an innocent and yet is capable of transforming into a mean destroyer when he needs to protect his family.

PDF Verdict: Loosely adapted from English flick: Taken, Ajay Devgn’s 2nd bollywood film Shivaay fails miserably. With running time of 175 minutes, watch this film only if you have absolutely nothing else to do. Debutant Sayyeshaa Saigal tells Ajay in the climax: “I don’t know what to say. I am at a loss for words” and so was the case with me. As the punch line says: “THERE WILL BE DESTRUCTION THIS DIWALI”, it will be if you see this film...

Overall Review:
The film is based on the novel ‘Inferno’ by Dan Brown. The plot of the movie sounds thrilling, but sadly the movie isn’t. Ron Howard who previously won an Academy Award will surely feel that this film is just not one of his best works...

Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary and presented by Shoojit Sircar, this court room thriller is set in Delhi. Overall Review:
2016 Ben-Hur is a remake of 1959’s classic version with the same name that won 11 Oscar awards. This American epic historical action drama is directed by Timur Bekmambetov. Cinematically, the film was a little disappointing. Director completely failed to maintain the pace which is very important for a historic drama movie.
