Overall Review:
Set in modern-day Uttar Pradesh, 3rd Installment of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster returns ater 5 years. The third instalment is once again directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and stars Sanjay Dutt, Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Chitrangda Singh, Soha Ali Khan, Deepak Tijori, Zakir Hussain, Kabir Bedi, Nafisa Ali and Deepraj Rana. The series is an extended and amped-up homage to the 1962 classic Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, directed by Abrar Alvi. The film starts where part two left us as Raja Aditya Pratap Singh (Jimmy) takes the “honourable” route to bring himself back to power and Rani Madhavi Devi (Mahie) tries everything in her power to stop him. On the other hand, we are introduced to Raam Baba (Sanjay) who owns a club in London but has the roots of his family in India and is madly in love with his mistress Mona (Chitrangda Singh). What follows is a cat and mouse chase with twists and turns along the way. First half of the film is crisp and ediger. Second haf is let down due to weak script.. Aditya Pratap Singh and his wife Madhavi Devi, played by Shergill and Gill reprises their roles again and have proved yet again as to why they have been the ultimate Saheb and Biwi with their naturally gifted performances. Sanjay dutt, Whose character is badass gangster has not got enough screen space. Chitrangada Singh contributes as little to the narrative as does the lumbering Sanjay Dutt. Soha Ali Khan (as Aditya’s second wife) has hardly 3-4 scenes and is wasted. With such a stellar cast, the movie fails with its weak script that could have been much better. Music of the film does not appeal. Film fails to make for great cat-and-mouse drama. With so many bumps in its way, this installment will fail.

PDF Verdict:
The third Installment of the royal saga of deceit, conspiracy, greed and lust fails to take the legacy forward. Watch it just for performance of Gill & Gill (Jimmy Shergill and Mahie Gill).
