Movie is about a hooligan/gangster whose ambitions and career are entirely shaped by his life-long quest for the girl he fell in love with – and lost – as a child. Their paths cross again as adults through a hare-brained set of circumstances that make Sajid Khan’s films seem well thought out.
First thing first: There is nothing legendary about Manish Jha’s film: The Legend of Michael Mishra. Film is complete distaster with amateurish acting and a directionless plot. So called unconventional desi rom-com falls flat due to its ludicrous script. Even four quirky characters: Arshad, Boman, Aditi Rao Hydri & Kayoze Irani could not save this patna based kingpin drama. The only saviour in the film was in the second half towards the end but it takes courage to sit for 124 minutes (“Survival of the Fittest”). The Legend Of Michael Mishra has nothing worth a watch. Give it a miss (even if it is on Satellite Television).
Performance & Technical Review:
Arshad Warsi is wasted; thanks to poor script / character written. Aditi Rao Hydari looks great but her act is quite average. Boman Irani is the narrator in the film and he is the only good thing but because of the story he is telling, one may not like him too! Kayoze Irani (Boman’s Son) is far from being funny. Bad music throughout the film will irritate and give your a headache.
The Legend Of Michael Mishra is a complete waste of your time and money. If you manage to survive this film without a head-ache, you shall be the legend! SPARE Yourselves from this Horror Show.
