Overall Review: Flying direct from the world of video games, The Angry Birds finally makes their big screen debut in a bold, bright and colorful film for kids and adults. The Angry Birds Movie is not a classic, but it doesn’t try to be. It is fun, light, and energetic. It should keep the kids entertained and the adults amused. The only bad side for the film is: Unfocused middle portion and some slapstick toilet jokes / humour. Sony Pictures have finally delivered some quality animation. The quality of the animation is excellent and complimented to good effect with the actors voices, making it both fun to watch and listen to. Story line is simple. Movie scenery is beautiful and colorful. 3D brings nice depth to scenery and works nicely enough to counsel to see it in 3D. Though not a masterpiece, Angry Birds is still a pleasantly engaging movie.

Performance & Technical Review: The voice acting is perfect. Jason (Red) and Josh (Chuck) do a great job. Josh (Chuck) has some of the greatest scenes and lines. Brownie points where movie scores are: 3D Animation & Colorful characters with scenery. If the screenplay had not been so redundant and repetitive in the middle portion, film would have been the perfect blend with high quality graphic effects.

PDF Verdict: Considering the film in line of game: The Angry Birds, all the pigs are defeated in the last stage but the highest score still settles at 3.5 on 5
