Overall Review: After successful movies like Drishyam, Force and Marathi film Lai Bhaari, Nishikant Kamat is back with film Rocky Handsome; an official remake of the Korean film “The Man from Nowhere”. Film is packed with sharp and high octane action sequences from ace action directors from Eastern Asia. Sequences are quite smooth and stylized. First bollywood film to feature all three mega forms of martial art: Aikido, Hapkido and Krav Maga. Film also marks the acting debut of Nishikant Kamath. The film revolves around a man who sets out to avenge his daughter’s death and locks his horns with a drug mafia. If only director Nishikant Kamat could give us a concrete plot, Rocky Handsome would have been an entertaining watch!

Performance & Technical Review: After a very long gap, John Abraham has a role which would justify his talent. Stylized actions suits Indian Rambo very well. Shruti Haasan in her brief role is impressive. Film’s music is average but its outstanding background score makes the film feel international.

PDF Verdict: Stylised actions without using any VFX makes this Indian Rambo one time watchable affair. If only director Nishikant Kamat could give us a concrete plot, Rocky Handsome would have been an entertaining watch!
