Plot:
King of Mahishmati, Amarendra Baahubali (Prabhas) and his wife Devasena (Anushka) ruled the kingdom, where people were living at peace and prosperity, until the cruel minister (Nasser) pair up with an evil king, Bhallaladeva and capture the kingdom by killing the king in a great war. Since the kingdom now belongs to Bhallaladeva. Baahubali’s son Shivudu who is secretly raised by his mother comes back to the rescue of the kingdom. Avantika is the love interest of Shivudu. Did Shivudu (Bahubali) rescue the Kingdom? Did he get to marry Avantika?

Overall Review: A Grand Spectacle Opus lives to its expectations in the field of VFX / Art Sets. Its near to perfection and can compete with any Hollywood Films. The opening sequence is visually extraordinary and sets the mood of the audience at the highest level. Made with a whopping budget of Rs. 250 Cr; Baahubali is India’s richest and most expensive movie till date and with the multistar cast of Prabhas Raju and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles, Anushka Shetty and Tamanna Bhatia as the female leads, Ramya Krishnan, Kichaa Sudeep, Nasser and Krishnam Raju in supporting roles, director S.S. Rajamouli has taken Indian cinema at the next level. It took him 3 years to complete the films. Every film Rajamouli directs, its one of a kind. He has dared to dream and this time he has taken a giant leap. After having an interesting 15 minutes, “Baahubali – The Beginning” trails for the next 40 minutes. The film picks up the pace towards interval and the second half is quite engaging and gets a never-before-experienced feeling. Second half specially will make the audience feel as as watching MAHABHARAT / LORD OF WAR. BEWARE – Story does not end; This grand epic is the first part of the two-part period drama “Baahubali” and it continues till the year 2016 as BAHUBALI THE CONCLUDING. Action Sequences of the flick are eye treat to watch for the people who love fights. This time, it’s going to be 10 times greater.This Grand Epic is MASTERPIECE in every frame except weak storyline in first 40-50 minutes and some overdose of action scenes. Performance & Technical Review: MM Keeravani’s music and background score, KK Senthil Kumar’s brilliant camera work, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao’s editing, Peter Hein’s choreography of action and war scenes, Sabu Cyril’s art direction, Rama Rajamouli’s costumes and V Srinivas Mohan’s VFX work are all top-notch and on par with the
Hollywood standards. The main highlight of “Baahubali – The Beginning” is the performances: film features multi-star cast: Prabhas (as Bahubali / Shivadu), Bolly n Tolly star Rana Daggubati, Beautiful Anushka Shetty and Gorgeous Tamannaah and Stunnig heroine Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles. And also Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi
Seshu, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep in spectacular roles. The film was shot using Arri Alexa XT camera marking Rajamouli’s first film using digital camera and the principal photography began at Rock Gardens in Kurnool on 6 July 2013.
