Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Overall Review: Directed by Peyton Reed & written by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay and Paul Rudd, Ant-Man is hugely entertaining & MARVELous. What makes this film works so well is its insistence on detailing of each characters and taking their relationships seriously. Story takes time to get build up but once it gets going, its a rolla-coaster ride of humour, action and excitement. The plot is fairly simple & beauty lies in simplicity. There were fair amount of emotions which helped the film to connect with the audience. However there are weaknesses in the plot but it does not derail the movie. A new character from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) provides a good break-through from world of villains and destruction. It is the best film from MCU franchisee phase 2. The suit of Ant-Mann and the specification of it are much similar with Iron
Man movie series without some qualities. Film has more than one ending as it happens. Either Ant-Man will Return (with Ant- Woman / Wasp) OR with Avengers – Civil War. For me, my favorite would be Ant-Man will Return.

Performance & Technical Review: The special effects were great, and the experience of seeing the world from such a small perspective was surreal. The emotions captured by the characters are incredible. Supporting characters were also good, especially Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. The final fight scene was fast paced, had some funny
moments with splendid VFX.

PDF Verdict: With blend of Comic-Sci/Fi, great performances & brilliant action; I can assure this small wonder is worth checking out and serves significant 12th puzzle piece in MARVEL Universe. In a single word: STUNNING. Go small..Go for ANT-MAN.
